On September 17, another monitoring visit of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) experts took place in Rivne. The event was held within the framework of the initiative “Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings in Ukraine”, implemented with the support of the European Investment Bank.
The inspection team included UNDP specialists, experts from the Department of Capital Construction, the Department of Strategic Development and Investments, representatives of the Department of Education, directors of Lyceums No. 8 and No. 13, as well as contractors, and technical and author supervision teams. They reviewed the progress of comprehensive thermal modernization works at the schools.
During the visit, the quality of the completed works was assessed, including façade insulation and the installation of energy-efficient windows and doors. UNDP experts confirmed that the works are being carried out properly, provided technical recommendations for the final stages, and emphasized the importance of adhering to energy efficiency standards.
Such initiatives are part of Rivne’s strategy to improve energy efficiency and create a safe and comfortable educational environment.
