The Department of Economic Development presented the international CLIBUS project!

As part of the Communication Plan of the international CLIBUS grant project, on October 21, a presentation of the project was held at the Department of Economic Development of the Rivne City Council for employees who are not directly involved in its implementation.

During the meeting, the Director of the Department, Nataliya Hlazkova, outlined the prospects of Rivne City Territorial Community’s participation in international initiatives and highlighted current challenges in the fields of climate and economic policy. One of these initiatives is the CLIBUS project, which brings together partners from Finland, Denmark, Greece, the Netherlands, and Ukraine to help cities and regions engage small and medium-sized businesses in implementing energy-efficient and climate solutions.

The project coordinator from the Department, Iryna Mykhaliuk, presented the key directions of CLIBUS and the local objectives for Rivne City Territorial Community, emphasizing that the project aims to help communities create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs working on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving energy efficiency. This is another step for the Rivne community on the path toward climate neutrality and sustainable development.

The project is funded by the European Union under the Interreg Europe program with co-financing from the community budget. The initiative is aimed at strengthening climate resilience and supporting entrepreneurs in transitioning to a low-carbon economy.
