Today, the deputies of the Rivne City Council approved the Development Strategy of the Rivne Community until 2027!
Our team, together with the Strategic Committee headed by Viktor Shakirzyan, worked on this project for 1.5 years.
The staff of the department organized and coordinated the work of thematic working groups and held 11 strategic sessions. Surveys were conducted, and proposals for the Strategy document and its Action Plan were collected.
To create this key strategic document for the community, a participatory approach was used, ensuring the maximum involvement of all stakeholders and residents. A public consultation and community discussion were also held, during which valuable feedback was received from residents and NGOs.
We would like to thank all residents of the Rivne community, members of the Strategic Committee, representatives of civil society organizations, City Council deputies, executive authorities, local businesses, sectoral experts, and youth organizations for their active participation in developing the Strategy.
We also express our gratitude to the Council of Europe Project Office in Ukraine – Kyiv, “Strengthening Resilience of Democratic Processes through Public Participation during War and in the Post-war Period,” for their expert support.
