
At the end of last week, the forum "Platform for Cooperation: Business and Government for Community Development" was held in Rivne. The main theme of the forum, which brought together local authorities, the business community, and guests from various regions of Ukraine, was establishing effective cooperation between entrepreneurs and the municipality for the development of the Rivne community.
Volodymyr Muliar, Head of the Department, served as the moderator of the discussion panel "Strategic Partnership: Effective Mechanisms of Cooperation between Government and Business for Sustainable Community Development," which focused on sharing best practices to achieve synergy between business and local authorities.
In his speech, Deputy Mayor Artem Hanushchak presented the developments of the draft Program for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the Rivne Municipal Territorial Community for 2025–2027.
Member of the Ukrainian Parliament Dmytro Solomchuk emphasized the importance of cooperation between the government and business for the sustainable development of the community.
Rivne City Council Member Mykola Blyashyn presented the results of a study conducted as part of the “Support for Rapid Economic Recovery of Ukrainian Municipalities” initiative.
Guest speakers from Vinnytsia and Lutsk — Kateryna Babina, Director of the Vinnytsia Municipal Innovation Center, and Borys Smal, Head of the Economic Policy Department of the Lutsk City Council — shared their experiences and successful cooperation cases in their communities.
During the practical workshop, mechanisms were developed for establishing an Entrepreneurs’ Council under the Mayor of Rivne. Participants’ ideas can be viewed in the presentation material:
