We participated in an online meeting on "Procurement Organization within the Project 'Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings in Ukraine' (UPBEE)." Project experts discussed the specifics, rules, and regulatory documents regarding procurement for the Rivne, Korets, and Lanivtsi municipal communities.
It is important to note that as part of the project, a loan of €1.466 million from the European Investment Bank is planned, which has been supported by the city council deputies. The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine have already approved the loan.
The funds will be directed towards the insulation of buildings, window replacement, and the implementation of energy efficiency measures at Rivne Lyceum No. 8 and Lyceum No. 13. Each of the buildings at these schools is already 50 years old. Thanks to the insulation and energy efficiency measures, energy consumption costs for the community will decrease.
