Today, a meeting took place in Rivne where residents of the Rivne community, local government representatives, city council deputies, and experts discussed proposals for the draft statute of the Rivne community, which was developed by a working group.
It is expected that the draft document will soon be presented for consideration by the city council.
The statute is the legal foundation. It clearly defines the relationship between the authorities and the community residents. It is a document, a tool that allows residents to continuously influence the affairs of the community, not only during elections. This document also promotes the formation of shared responsibility between the authorities and residents for how the community's life is organized.
