Rivne Community participated in the final conference "Participatory Democracy: A Key Factor for Ukraine's Resilience," part of the Council of Europe project "Strengthening the Resilience of Democratic Processes through Public Participation During and After the War."
Yesterday, Head of the Department, Volodymyr Mulyar, spoke at the conference in the panel "Developing Participatory Decisions in Communities: How Citizens Are Involved in Decision-Making During the War," focusing on "Strengthening Communities Through Participatory Strategy Development."
Since April, project experts have been providing support in developing the Rivne MTH Development Strategy until 2028.
During this time, ten strategic sessions were held, with over 300 participants, resulting in 675 proposals for the action plan to implement the strategy. Additionally, 259 professionals worked in thematic working groups, and 433 residents of Rivne Community took part in surveys.
