The year starts with good news! We’ve received some exciting news – our project “A Missing Link to Energy Efficient Performance of Buildings” has been supported by the European Commission’s LIFE program!
For the implementation of the project, the Rivne community will receive 75% of the grant funds (from the total project cost) – 581,141 Euros (+25 million 494 thousand UAH). Our Czech partner, the Nesehnuti organization, will receive 187,000 Euros. The total approved grant funding amounts to 808,579 Euros (35 million 472 thousand UAH). Additionally, the competition conditions require 5% co-financing from both applicants.
The idea of the project is to create an Energy Efficiency Office in the Rivne community. The organization will function as a "one-stop shop," where residents of both private and multi-apartment buildings can go for assistance in implementing measures for thermal modernization and reducing energy consumption. The office staff will assist in the implementation of energy efficiency projects until their completion. Additionally, consultations from Czech experts and educational visits to the Czech Republic are planned.
